About this forum

Toy Hauler Forum opened in November 2025 for people whose RV has a ramp door on the back and something with knobby tires parked behind it.

Fifth wheel toy haulers and travel trailer toy haulers both count. Momentum, Fuzion, Raptor, XLR Nitro and Boost, Vengeance, Cyclone, Seismic, Talon, Genesis Supreme, and the older ones that were sold under names nobody uses anymore. A 24 foot bumper pull with one dirt bike gets the same answers as a 44 foot triple axle with two four seaters in it.

It is run by Jolene W., who posts as mod_jolene_w. Jolene spent 19 years as a service writer at a marine and powersports dealer in Lake Havasu City, mostly checking in side by sides and personal watercraft on Monday mornings after the holiday weekends, and the rest of the time arguing with warranty departments. She and her husband run a 2019 Fuzion 419 out to the Parker Strip and the dunes west of Yuma most winters. She reads the contact mailbox herself, usually in the evening.

What it costs

Hosting is about ten dollars a month and the domain is twelve a year. Jolene pays both out of pocket. There are no ads on any page, no affiliate codes in any link, and nobody has paid to start a thread or to get one moved up. If any of that ever changes it will be posted here first.

House rules

  • Year, brand and model number in your first post, and what you haul. A Momentum 395MS and a Momentum 21G are both Grand Designs and have nothing else in common.
  • Weights come from a scale or a sticker, not a brochure. If you guessed, say you guessed.
  • Buying reports include the numbers. A mod will ask once if you leave them out.
  • No selling in threads. There is no classifieds board, on purpose. Linking a public listing to make a point about price is fine.
  • If you work for a dealer, a manufacturer, a lender, an auction or a hauling company, say so in the post where it comes up.
  • Fuel and generators: no advice that involves bypassing a safety device, and nobody gets talked into running a generator with the ramp up and the garage closed.
  • Off topic threads get moved to the right bay with a note left behind. Locked threads get a reason written in them.
  • Accounts are by email request until the spam calms down.

What this is not

Not a dealer, not a manufacturer, not a weigh station and not your owner's manual. If somebody here gives you a torque spec or a strap rating, check it against your own trailer's paperwork before you put a machine on it.
